Art Highlight

I love many different styles of photography.  When I saw Jason Peterson’s photography, I loved the stark simplicity of the images.  They are black and white, uncluttered, and clean.  Yet, they also possess an undercurrent of energy, and sometimes even power.  They are all taken in urban settings too so I love how they remind me of one of the sides of New York – dark, sleek and unexpectedly beautiful.

Otherwise this weekend I am…

…getting back into the groove!  I had a crazy travel schedule between New York City and a few cities in upstate New York.  But I really loved being back.  I especially loved spending time with dear friends (my bestie from CA!) and family.  There isn’t anything much cuter than seeing your little one ride in a power wheels car with your 7 year-old niece.  I have so much to do at work and missed blogging.  I am actually going to try to migrate the site to a new theme as well so stay tuned!  Otherwise, I’ll be taking my daughter to lots of play dates and classes this weekend.  It should be fun!
