Happy Fun, Free Friday lovelies!
Sorry for the radio silence, but I forgot my computer battery 10,000 miles away and took an unintended blog break. At least it was a nice chance to get over jet lag. But of course my little lady isn’t used to summer sunrises and just gets up when the sun is up at 5:30 am. #losingatsleeping
Fun Finds
What would it be like to live in a village above water aka a floating village?
I got to see a floating village in Cambodia and was fascinated by the houses and people there, I was reminded of it again when I saw Ng Choo Kia’s pictures of a floating college in Malaysia. The village and people look so vibrant reminding me to keep a bright outlook in any living situation.
Otherwise this weekend I am…
…spending lots of time with family. My husband has two aunts in town and his sister’s family will also be here as well. We may have some grilled goodies, Filipino food, and lots of sweets (seriously my mom’s friend delivered a whole ice cream cake to us!) My daughter will also be baptized on Sunday so it will be nice to see close friends and family for the occasion. We will host a party at my parent’s place and it will be so great to see all of our loved ones in NYC. It can be hard to see everyone and some of our friends haven’t even seen our daughter yet, so it should be fun!
What are you doing this weekend?
Have a fabulous weekend!
