Isn’t the beginning of the weekend a glorious time (and yay I’m going to Bali next week!!!)
Such are the perks of living on this side of the planet now. I’ll take lots of pictures of course…

RueLaLa has a great variety of designer sample sales ranging from clothing to kitchen tools to hotel packages (right now, Lilly Pulitzer, John Varvatos, and NY Fashion week goodies!) Their Act 1 and Act 2 seasonal sample sales are also insanely awesome end of season sales.

One Kings Lane is a home decor sample sale site with some really cool finds (Stark Home and Marsupial stationary are currently featured). They also have tastemaker collaborations where top interior designers select their top picks for sale on the site. I’m thinking about getting a Chic custom canvas now and am waiting for some great serving ware pieces to go on sale again (you snooze you lose, pieces sell fast!).

Otherwise, I’m packing for Bali. I just bought this new Antler lightweight luggage – 2.4 kg (5.29 pounds). Be careful – many carriers are strict about carryon weight limits now (my intl. carrier even weighed my carry on and NOT my checked in luggage and made me transfer things to check in).
I thought I’d invest in lightweight luggage for my husband and his back will be happy. 🙂
…having some dim sum (this isn’t Hong Kong quality, but there are decent options).
