Saint Laurent Fall 2019
I don’t remember much about the ’80s, but there are certain fashions I instantly associate with the era. Saint Laurent Fall 2019 is an undeniably fun, ’70s and ’80s inspired collection. Strong shapes, particularly defined shoulders, always make me think of the age of the King of Pop. Whenever I see pops of neon green or pink, I also think of that time. Saint Laurent took on those neon colors and splashed them across dramatic minis and fluffy teddy coats. I liked seeing the clothes in a moody blacklight as well – it reminds me of partying days long past and why a lint roller is key when black lights are involved.
Otherwise, this weekend I am…
…trying out a few new recipes. I’ve been curious about these vegan vanilla cupcakes for a while and we’re celebrating a birthday so it’s a great time to make them right! I just wonder if my white chocolate frosting experiment will work out (fingers crossed!) I may also try making Panna Cotta if my family has gotten over their colds. So many sweets (I’ll be replacing the refined sugar with Swerve too though so let’s see!)
