“Things are beautiful if you love them.”
Vogue Italia December 2015
Do you have some beautiful things in your life that others may not consider beautiful?
Perhaps it’s an old, tattered, but comfortable blanket. Maybe it’s the haphazard and glaringly bright glazed vase from a tiny little family member. Or maybe you love and cherish a favorite, tiny sparkly little Christmas tree from your first Christmas as a family and find that to be beautiful.
I saw these “Beauty and the Beast” photos by Tim Walker featuring Kate Moss and started thinking about the classic story as well. While something may not be traditionally beautiful on the outside, if we love it, it becomes beautiful to us as well. I’d like to think my daughter is beautiful with her large teardrop eyes and little pink mouth, I know she is beautiful to me for the most important reason – she is a part of me. This crazy, funny little person like the many other funky things I love in my life are beautiful and loved.
Have a lovely week!

How stunning. That horse and the infamous Kate Moss. She never gets old!
I usually gravitate towards unique things and though they or it might be unpopular doesn’t mean anything to me. Beauty is so relative anyway. Your little one is without a doubt beautiful! I also enjoyed this editorial; very artistic. xo
Kate Moss is gorgeous!
Beauty is truly so subjective and I think it show shows up in what we value. I have a few childhood toys that are beat up and tattered but they’re still so beautiful to me.
Oh, this editorial is fantastic!
Kate Moss gets better and better! Love these. So beautiful what you wrote about your daughter.
I received your email. I will respond tonight or tomorrow. I’ve been swamped. LOL
