Happy Fun, Free Friday lovelies!
Floating Ripple Vase
Vases are vases right? I always imagined it as a simple vessel to hold and display a flower(s). It’s interesting to see designer Taku Omura reimagine the vase from a stationary holder to one that can be placed atop water. This single flower vase can be floated in almost any type of container and gives much more of a notion of flowers in a pond. What an organic and unique way to display flowers!
Otherwise, this weekend I am…
…getting started with the party circuit. My little one has a few parties to attend in the next few weeks and we’re just her chauffeurs/chaperones. Her birthday is also coming up and she’s been asking about her party. We will probably do a light Arabian Nights theme, but I’m low on creativity and time. What easy ideas fit the theme? I guess it’s time to get lots of scarves and jewels? #partyplanningistheworstsometimes
What are you up to this weekend?
Have a lovely weekend!
This is so adorable. Clean and minimal, I love it!
Have a great weekend! 🙂
WOW, these are amazing. sometimes i get afraid of ‘gimmicky’ things but this isn’t gimmicky at all even though it could easily fall into that category! trust the japanese to be so inventive and cool with things, love this a lot!
How old is your eldest? We are terrible when it comes to parties, no theme but just get a McDonald’s party pack to avoid messy cleanup. LOL!

My oldest is almost 4 pm! Man I’m not creative enough but did get a backdrop for a Arabian nights type thing per my daughter’s request. Ugh, it’s annoying when parties get more extensive and kids demand more!
those are super interesting, i’ve never seen them!
The vases are beautiful!
An arabian them is so sweet! Think pillows, lanterns, jewels, scarves. Can wait to see what you come up with.
This is so fanciful! Water atop. Definitely gives the display of flowers a different perspective.
